At IDMatrix, we collect personally identifiable information (“PII”) and non-personally identifiable (“Non-PII”) information from you. PII is information that can be used to identify you personally. Non-PII is information that must be combined with other information to identify you personally.
You may be required to provide us with your PII when you visit our Platform. In order to fully use our Platform, we may collect PII such as your name, date of birth, email, address, telephone number, and IP address.
Whenever you use our website, we may collect non-identifying information from you, such as your IP address, location information, age, zip code, gender, browsing history, search history, and registration history, interactions with the website, location, referring URL, browser, operating system, data usage, data transferred, and Internet Service Provider. After you have submitted a removal request for any PII to us please be aware that we may keep inaccessible copies of your PII subject to our data retention policies and as required by applicable laws.
Throughout the course of our provision of our services to you, we may delegate our authority to collect, access, use, and disseminate your information to third parties who maintain our underlying systems. We use third-party service providers to assist us in our business. We will provide your personal information to those third parties to perform services on our behalf.
In addition, we may share information in aggregated statistics and de-identified form with third parties for their own use, such as for learning about the types of visitors to our Platform, as well as for research purposes.
If you decide to provide us with your contact information, you agree that we may send you communications via text and emails. However, you may unsubscribe from certain communications by notifying IDMatrix that you no longer wish to receive these communications, we will endeavor to promptly remove you from our list once we have received that request. We currently do not offer functionality for you to opt out through “do not track” listings. In connection with the Services provided on IDMatrix, public records are available from the official public records custodian or repository to anyone who requests them. In addition to public records, personal information may be publicly or commercially available. Publicly available information consists of online and offline information that is generally available to the public such as names, addresses and telephone numbers of individuals and businesses, professional licensing and trade organization information, press releases and newspaper articles and content from blogs or social networking sites. Commercial records consist of information that is maintained by enterprises, such as marketing and telemarketing lists, phone connect and disconnect information, and business profile data.
As a courtesy, we enable you to opt out your personal information from the IIDMatrix platform, which you can do by sending us opt-put request on firstname.lastname@example.org . What this means is that your name as it appears in a particular record and the associated identifying information such as your address and phone number will be suppressed if you request this in the manner described below. However, please note that any time your identifying information appears in a public record or in a publicly or commercially available manner, in a way that is different from the particular record you opted out, it may again appear in our databases. For example, if your address or area code changes, your new information (including other associated identifying information) may again appear unless you opt out the new record. Similarly, if the way in which your name or address appears in a record differs from a record you opted out (e.g., "Christopher" instead of "Chris " or "215 W 2th Str" instead of "215 West Second Street "), we may include the differing record. Please also note that there may be more than one record in our databases associated with your personal information. Opting out one particular record will not opt out other record(s). An opt-out will apply from the processing date forward; any report purchased prior to your opt-out will still be available to the purchaser thereof in accordance with the terms of the applicable Services. There are many other companies offering public records search services, and your request that we opt out your information from our databases will not prevent your information from appearing on these other services.
We will complete your opt-out request as soon as feasibly possible, but no later than 15 days from the day we receive it. Opt-out requests must be submitted to us individually by the subject of a particular record. Bulk opt-out requests will not be fulfilled.
IDMatrix or other users may post links to third party websites on the Platform, which may include information that we have no control over. When accessing a third party site through our Platform, you acknowledge that you are aware that these third party websites are not screened for privacy or security issues by us, and you release us from any liability for the conduct of these third party websites.
We make reasonable attempts to protect your information by using physical and electronic safeguards. For this reason we use SSL certificates to enhance our Platform security and encryption to enhance our application security. Also, we have instituted physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to store and maintain your personal information in a secure environment. For example, highly confidential information, such as a credit card or debit card number, is encrypted before being transmitted through the Services. You may also be required to use a password to access certain pages on the Services where certain types of your personal information can be changed or deleted. It is therefore important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password, to emails which we may send you, and to your computer or other device. You take full responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. Furthermore, while we have implemented safeguards, you should be aware that Internet security technology rapidly changes. We cannot guarantee that the safeguards we employ today can protect your personal information from the threats of tomorrow. You should also be aware that despite our efforts, factors beyond our control may result in disclosure of your personal information. Accordingly, we are not in a position to guarantee that your information will be secure under all circumstances.However, as this is the Internet, we can make no guarantees as to the security or privacy of your information. For this reason, we recommend that you use anti-virus software, routine credit checks, firewalls, and other precautions to protect yourself from security and privacy threats.

We intend to fully comply with American and international laws respecting children’s privacy including COPPA. Therefore, we do not collect or process any information for any persons under the age of 18. If you are under 18 and using our Platform, please stop immediately and do not submit any information to us. In the event that we have inadvertently collected any information from users under the age of 18 please contact us immediately.
If you use our apps developed on Facebook platform, like messenger bots etc... we may collect personal data of the person you are searching for to provide you with the best results. We may collect data that you enter while performing a research and it includes names, emails, phone numbers or location of your person of interest. We may also collect your facebook ID while you communicate with our apps (like messenger bot). We keep Facebook user IDs within our control and we may only share them with service providers who help us build or run your app. The personal data obtained through these apps WILL NOT be transferred to a data broker or sold. Upon user request, we may delete all of the user’s personal data we have received from these apps if the user requests us to do so, unless we are required to keep it by law, regulation, or separate agreement with Facebook. We may keep aggregated data only if no information identifying a specific person could be inferred or created from it. We DO NOT sell, license, or purchase any data obtained from Facebook or other third parties and their services.
